I specialize in supporting those in helping professions—teachers, healthcare workers, first responders—and caregivers who feel burned out, emotionally drained from caring for others, or overwhelmed by systemic pressures and lack of support. Years of experience in the VA’s Suicide Prevention Program built expertise in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and resilience-building strategies. I’ve seen and experienced first-hand how chronic, high-demand roles can change not only our effectiveness, but also our sense of purpose and wellbeing. I also know that healing happens when we feel safe, supported, and connected.

I aim to help those who dedicate their lives to others rediscover balance, strengthen coping skills, and protect their own mental health. It’s time to reclaim your identity, restore your energy, and find inner balance—so you can keep showing up for the people who matter most without losing yourself in the process.

Resilience is built through engagement, not avoidance

My approach to therapy is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing techniques to tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. Together, we work to identify unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen coping strategies, increase self-awareness, and build meaningful, sustainable change at a pace that feels supportive and realistic for you.
